Ik ben bij Behind Closed Doors gestart bij Dylan toen ik net in mijn tweede trimester van mijn eerste zwangerschap zat. Ik wilde graag blijven sporten, maar vond groepslessen/andere vormen van sporten in Amsterdam niet echt passend tijdens de zwangerschap. Daarom zocht ik meer persoonlijke begeleiding, met focus op kracht en het voorkomen van bekken- of rugklachten. Vandaag, in week 39(!) heb ik mijn laatste PT training gehad en ik ben zó blij met de begeleiding die ik heb gekregen. Dankzij Dylan voel ik me fit en sterk, en kijk ik zelfs uit om straks na de bevalling weer terug te komen. Dylan is een top instructeur, met enorm veel kennis en ervaring, en daarnaast is de hele community bij Behind Closed Doors super gezellig en motiverend. No experience needed. Most of our clients start as beginners or returning beginners who haven't trained consistently before. Your coach adapts every session to your level and teaches you exactly what you're doing and why.
We offer 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. Our 30-minute sessions are our signature format — efficient, focused, and built around compound movements and progressive overload. Every minute is used. Most clients train 2–3 times per week.
Yes — English is our primary coaching language. Our coaches speak Dutch, English and Italian. BCD is one of the few private training studios in Amsterdam that is genuinely set up for internationals and expats. No language barrier, no confusion.
We're at Peperstraat 15H — a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal and right in the heart of the city centre. Private entrance, private space. Nothing like a commercial gym.
Your first session starts with an InBody scan (body composition), strength assessment, and movement quality check. We create your Personal Blueprint — a training and nutrition plan built specifically around your goals, schedule and lifestyle. You leave with a clear plan and a clear start.
The best way to start is our 3-week trial — 6 sessions for €207, no long-term commitment. If you continue, monthly memberships start from €204/month (30-min sessions, 1x per week). All packages include coaching, programming, nutrition guidance, and Trainerize app access.
Most PT fails because it's built for an ideal version of your life — not the one where travel, work, and bad weeks happen. We build the plan around those moments. Accountability between sessions, backup plans for when you're away, and a coach who notices when you go quiet. That's what makes it stick.
